Guiando a otros ciegos no llegaremos lejos - Leading the blind will not go far

--------------------------------------------

If you judge another, and in the very same way sin yourself, are not you like to the blind leading the blind? For how can you lead him to good when you also yourself commit sin? The disciple is not above his master. If therefore you sin, who think yourself a master and guide, where will he be who is taught and led by you? For he will be the perfect disciple who is as his master. (Theophylactus. Catena Aurea)
.
Reflection: Who among us can affirm that he knows or knows, as much as God? What do we do by leading other blind people who do not see either? Many times we want to take away responsibilities and begin to follow who the others applaud. Only Source of Eternal Life is the Word of God. We, at best, can pray to be docile tools in God's hands.
