Os pregunto, pues, ¿qué administrador hay que tenga en sí fidelidad y prudencia? Porque así como en la administración de los bienes se pierden éstos si el administrador no es prudente aunque sea fiel, o no es fiel aunque sea prudente, así también es necesario fidelidad y prudencia en las cosas divinas.

Reflexión: Deberíamos se unos administradores fieles y prudentes. Dios nos ha dado dones, capacidades, oportunidades, virtudes y sobre todo, nos ha regalado la fe. ¿Qué hacemos con todo esto? ¿Trabajamos para multiplicarlo en los demás? Hoy en día no es fácil trabajar para Dios porque el mundo nos cierra las puertas. Pero no deberíamos perder la esperanza. Dios abrirá las puertas en su momento. En el momento adecuado. No antes.

For I ask, where will be found the steward that possesses in himself faithfulness and wisdom? for as in the management of goods, whether a man be careless yet faithful to his master, or else wise yet unfaithful, the things of the master perish; so also in the things of God there is need of faithfulness and wisdom.

Reflection: We should be faithful and prudent administrators. God has given us gifts, abilities, opportunities, virtues, and above all, he has given us faith. What do we do with all this? Do we work to multiply it in others? Nowadays, it is not easy to work for God because the world closes our doors. But we should not lose hope. God will open the doors in his moment. At the right moment. Not before.
