Su mano te dará forma, si le dejas trabajarte - His hand will shape you, if you let him work in you

Si te dejas formar por él subirás hasta la perfección porqué a través de este arte de Dios el barro que eres quedará escondido; es su Mano la que ha creado tu sustancia... Mas, si endureciéndote, rechazas su arte y te muestras descontento que te haya hecho hombre, por tu ingratitud para con Dios habrás rechazado no solamente su arte sino la misma vida; porque formar es propio de la bondad de Dios y ser formado es propio de la naturaleza del hombre. Pues si tú te entregas a él poniendo en él tu confianza y sumisión, recibirás el beneficio de su arte y serás la obra perfecta de Dios.

Reflexión: ¿Queremos abrir la puerta a Cristo? Necesitamos que le miedo y la desconfianza desaparezcan de nuestro ánimo. Necesitamos que nuestro corazón se llene de paz y esperanza. Necesitamos que la caridad esté presente en todo lo que hagamos. ¿Cómo conseguirlo? No es posible con nuestras fuerzas, pero para Dios todo es posible. Dejemos que Él repare la imagen y semejanza con la que fuimos creados.

By letting yourself be formed by him you will rise up to perfection in that, through this art of God's, the clay in you will be concealed; his Hand created your substance... But if, being hardened, you reject his skill and show yourself displeased with what has made you man, you will have rejected, through your ingratitude to God, not simply his handiwork but life itself. Reflection: Do we want to open the door to Christ? We need fear and distrust to disappear from our mood. We need our hearts to be filled with peace and hope. We need charity to be present in everything we do. How to get it? It is not possible with our forces, but for God everything is possible. Let Him repair the image and similarity with which we were created.
