Si escuchamos la voz de Dios, está con nosotros - If we listen to the voice of God, He is with us

Ojala escuchéis hoy su voz: 'No endurezcáis vuestro corazón como en los días del desierto: cuando vuestros padres me pusieron a prueba... por eso he jurado en mi cólera: No entrarán en mi descanso'». (Sl 94, 7-11). La gracia de la promesa de Dios es abundante si hoy escuchamos su voz, porque este hoy se extiende a cada nuevo día durante todo el tiempo, por largo que sea, en que digamos «hoy». Este hoy, lo mismo que la posibilidad de conocer, dura hasta el final de los tiempos. En aquel día el verdadero 'hoy', el día sin fin de Dios, se confundirá con la eternidad. Obedezcamos, pues, siempre, a la voz del Verbo divino, la Palabra de Dios hecha carne, porque el hoy de siempre es imagen de la eternidad y el día es símbolo de la luz; ahora bien, el Verbo es, para los hombres, la luz (Jn 1,9) en la cual vemos a Dios. Reflexión: Cristo es el Logos de Dios. El Logos es la Palabra llena de significado por la vida. La vocación corresponde a la llamada exclusiva y única que cada uno de nosotros recibe. Tenemos que escuchar y aceptar su Voluntad con humildad y mansedumbre. Solo si lo aceptamos, encontraremos el significado de nosotros mismos. Convertirse es aceptar este llamado a seguir cada uno de los pasos del Señor.

Today, if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness, when your fathers proved Me by trial... they shall not enter into My rest”... For great is the grace of His promise, if today we hear His voice. And that “today” is lengthened out day by day, while it is called today. And to the end the today and the instruction continue; and then the true today, the never-ending day of God, extends over eternity. Let us then ever obey the voice of the divine word. Reflection: Christ is the Logos of God. The Logos is the Word that full of meaning por life. The vocation corresponds to the exclusive and unique call that each one of us receives. We have to listen and accept his Will with humility and meekness. Only if we accept it, we will find the meaning of ourselves. To convert us is to accept this call to follow each one of the footsteps of the Lord.
